"A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step."
-Lao Tzu
With only four weeks left until my departure, I decided it was time to start up this travel blog that I've been promising people. (For those of you who know me well enough to wonder what I'm procrastinating on...the answer is unpacking.) Anyway, I thought this would be a good way to keep track of my foreign adventures and keep everyone at home informed on my life. Plus, I've discovered that reading blogs is a great way to procrastinate on chemistry homework, so for you chem people...I'll try to make this more interesting than orgo.
So, I've started to think about what kinds of things I'm going to miss for a semester, and what things I definitely do not plan on missing. I thought I'd share; I'm sure you'll find them slightly entertaining, mainly because most of them involve you all.

Yay London! How exciting!! :)
But, I'm going to be incredibly depressed when I cannot immediately call you up after a monumental scene of CSI airs :( ...and after Grissom leaves, oh man, I will live in my room for a week because I will not be able to express my grief and emotions to anyone who will understand...we have some issues that we should probably get taken care of... Hahaha
AH! I'm definitely going to miss you getting lost at CK events! Haha. Although, I'm gonna miss you more when you aren't there with my at DCON. When Grisson leaves btw, I'm going to cry too. :P
I look forward to your awesome blogness! ^.^
Alison, just because we played with a kids CSI kit tonight does not mean we have problems... =)
Steph, I expect plenty of pictures and updates from CK and DCON. And get lost at least once for me!
Hey... most of the things u said u will miss... are same as I those I am already missing from my undergard days in dorms from India.. (gud thing for you is that you will be soon back to those days..for me they are just part of my memory now) specially those late night walks...sometimes for food..sometimes...without any reason.. why is the food always bad in dorms? .. :D
I guess it is very easy to write what you will miss..but it is very difficult to write what you will not miss...
btw.. did I not read that "Ben and I completely screwing up in orgo lab and stealing each other's answers" :P ??
You may not be undergrad, but you're still a student...therefore you can still take late night walks for no reason. Or for delicious food. :)
And, uh, you were supposed to skip that line.
